Bangkok: A fire erupted in a luxury townhome complex in the Udom Suk area, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to two others. The Bangna District Office civil engineering officials conducted an inspection of the structure, which was completely destroyed by the blaze.
According to Thai News Agency, the fire broke out around 2 AM in a four-story townhouse complex consisting of five interconnected units. The tragic incident led to the deaths of two German women and two German men. Investigations have revealed that the fire originated on the second floor of the third unit, which is located in the middle of the complex, and quickly spread to the third floor, causing extensive damage.
Witness statements have indicated that an argument between a man and a woman was heard before smoke and flames were noticed. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities. In the meantime, Bangna District Office civil engineering officials have inspected the building's structure and reported no structural damage. The injured individuals are still receiving medical care at a local hospital.
