According to Thai News Agency, BCP has issued an official statement addressing the controversy surrounding the appointment of new directors, which took effect on April 18, 2025. The company explained that the reshuffle of its board followed the resignation of three directors, prompting the need to fill these vacancies. The newly appointed directors include representatives from major shareholders and the Ministry of Finance.
The company emphasized that all steps in the appointment process were conducted in full compliance with legal requirements and established procedures. This involved a thorough evaluation and approval by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, ensuring alignment with standard organizational management practices.
