BKS Unveils March 2026 Holiday Bus Tours to Boost Domestic Tourism

Bangkok: The Bus Terminal Company (BKS) has announced a series of promotional activities to encourage travel during the March 2026 holidays, aiming to boost public transportation use and support local economies.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Atthawit Rakchamroon, Managing Director of Transport Co., Ltd. (BKS), detailed the company's initiatives to enhance tourism via public buses on weekends, offering one-day trips using 30-seater non-regular buses. These efforts are intended to stimulate domestic tourism and generate income for both the organization and surrounding communities.

The March 2026 activities include two key trips: On March 1st, travelers can explore Kanchanaburi Province with a round-trip fare of 599 baht per person. Departing from Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) or Mochit 2 at 7:15 AM, the itinerary features visits to Wat Tham Sua, the historic Bridge over the River Kwai, and a 100-year-old giant rain tree.

Another trip is scheduled for March 29th, offering a "Complete Spiritual Trip" to Nakhon Nayok with a round-trip fare of 499 baht per person. Departing from Mochit 2 Bus Terminal at 7:30 AM, this tour includes attractions such as Wat Maniwong, Wat Phramanee, Ganesha Park, a boat trip to Khao Chong Lom waterfall, and a visit to Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam.

The Bus Terminal Company's previous tours have received positive feedback, including routes in Lopburi, Ratchaburi, and Chanthaburi Provinces. These tours provide convenient, comfortable, safe, and affordable transportation, fulfilling traveler needs and prompting a demand for future tours.
