Body of Private Thiwatawan Pholyiam Returns to Hometown Amidst Grief

Amnat charoen: The body of Private Thiwatawan Pholyiam, a soldier who died while serving on the Thai-Cambodian border, is being sent back to his hometown, evoking profound sadness and grief among locals.

According to Thai News Agency, Private Thiwatawan, a member of the 2nd Infantry Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, Royal Guard, lost his life while performing his duty at Ban Nong Chan, Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province. This morning, his body was transported from Watthana Nakhon Hospital by an army vehicle to the Air Force Base 3 (Watthana Nakhon) airport. From there, it will be transferred to an army transport aircraft for a flight to Ubon Ratchathani Province.

Upon arrival at the airport near Wing 21, the body will be transported by road to its final destination in Amnat Charoen Province. The 22nd Military Circle (22nd MD) is overseeing the transportation process, ensuring order and providing assistance throughout the journey until the body is handed over to the family.

The military and related agencies have conducted the transportation with respect and honor, commemorating the bravery and sacrifice of Private Thiwatawan Pholyiam, whose actions have deeply touched the nation. He is remembered as a hero who protected Thailand, and his legacy will forever remain in the memory of the country.
