According to Thai News Agency, the festival is set to be a major event, featuring three stages over an expansive area of more than 140 rai, running for two days and nights without pause. The event will showcase a diverse lineup of over 24 artists, including Monkan Kaenkoon, Maithai Huajai Sin, Phongsit Kamphee, and many others. The festival aims to stimulate the economy of Amnat Charoen Province by distributing income to the local community and nearby provinces, with more than 100 OTOP products from seven districts on display.
Boen Pathumrat expressed his motivation for organizing the festival, saying, “I wanted to work at the Maha Amnat Festival because my hometown has never had a festival with this many artists. I want to bring this to my hometown as well. I want to see people from other provinces, cities, and even abroad come visit my hometown. It’s a show of the power and greatness of Maha Amnat, or come visit Amnat Charoen. I want everyone to come visit. The artists alone are more than half the country.”
The festival will also feature a football match in collaboration with the “Watha Luk Nang” page as part of a traveling football event. Tickets remain available for the event scheduled on January 10-11 at the Maha Amnat Festival.
