Bukayo Saka Joins Elite Group of English World Cup Hat-Trick Scorers

Bangkok: Bukayo Saka became the fourth English player to score a hat-trick in the World Cup after netting three goals in the third-place playoff against France. The Arsenal winger's impressive performance has placed him among the ranks of England's football legends.

According to Thai News Agency, Saka's achievement sees him join the elite group of English players who have managed a hat-trick in World Cup history, following in the footsteps of Sir Geoff Hurst (1966), Gary Lineker (1986), and Harry Kane (2018). Despite the significant achievement, Saka stands out as only the second English player to score a hat-trick during the knockout rounds, a feat previously accomplished only by Sir Geoff Hurst during the 1966 final.
