BYD Empowers Thai Youth with Football Dreams Project

Bangkok: BYD is providing opportunities for Thai youth through the "Football Clinic BYD Drive the Dream: Charge Your Thai Football Dreams" project at Rajamangala National Stadium.

According to Thai News Agency, BYD, the official sponsor of the Thai national football team, continues to inspire young people through this initiative, which brought 264 children aged 7-14 years old to participate in a special football event on May 30, 2026. The participants hailed from various recreation centers and schools across Thailand, including Bangkapi Recreation Center, Lat Krabang Recreation Center, and Prasat Wittaya School in Singburi Province.

During the event, the young participants received professional football training from "Coach Wang" Thawatchai Damrong-ongtrakul, a former Thai national team player, along with his coaching staff. The training focused on ball control, passing, movement, and teamwork. Additionally, the children had the unique opportunity to interact with former Thai national football players like "Jay" Chanathip Songkrasin, "New" Peeradon Chamrasmi, and "Ice" Kampol Pathomarkakul, who shared experiences and memories with them.

"Jay" Chanathip Songkrasin expressed his joy in seeing the children smile and emphasized that this experience could be a pivotal moment in their pursuit of dreams. "New" Peeradon Chamrasmi highlighted that football instills discipline, effort, and teamwork, which are essential for all children. Meanwhile, "Ice" Kamphol Pathomarkakul encouraged the young players to believe in themselves and enjoy playing football, emphasizing that action is the first step toward realizing dreams.

A key highlight of the project was BYD's donation of football boots and sports equipment to the young participants, supporting their skill development and future aspirations. Mr. Jirasak Chuenarom, Managing Director of Rev© Automotive Co., Ltd., stated that the project reflects BYD and Rev© Automotive's commitment to sustainable growth and giving back to Thai society.

The project aims not only to provide football coaching but also to inspire creativity and open new perspectives for the youth. The participants learn from professional coaches and engage closely with national players, boosting their confidence and morale. BYD also aims to share concepts of clean energy, future technologies, and sustainable social development with the young attendees.

The 'Football Clinic BYD Drive the Dream: Charging the Dreams of Thai Football' project represents BYD's significant contribution to Thai football development through youth support and inspiration. BYD plans to continue offering new activities and experiences to further advance Thai football in the future.
