Cat Burglars Arrested for Breaking into Luxury House to Steal Property

Region 1: Region 1 detectives arrested a pair of cat burglars who broke into a luxury house and stole property worth more than 200,000 baht in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani Province.

According to Thai News Agency, Region 1 detectives apprehended Mr. Athit and Mr. Chinnawat with evidence including tools, cash, and several amulets. The two individuals were involved in breaking into more than ten luxury houses in the Bueng Kham Phroi Subdistrict, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province, on May 21st. They managed to steal property valued at over 200,000 baht. Security cameras at the victim's house captured images of the suspects.

Upon questioning, the suspects confessed to knowing each other from their time in prison. They decided to collaborate in committing the crimes, leveraging the inside knowledge of one suspect who formerly worked as a village security guard. This suspect used his familiarity with the village's entry and exit points to facilitate their break-ins. They targeted no less than 10 luxury housing projects, breaking into at least 100 houses, and stealing property valued at no less than 200,000 baht per house.
