Chai Nat and Monthong Wittaya Teams Receive Over One Million Baht in Bonuses After 7-Color Student Football Tournament Victory

Bangkok: The Chai Nat Provincial Administrative Organization and Monthong Wittaya School teams have collectively received bonuses exceeding one million baht after their participation in the 7-Color Student Football Tournament culminated in a historic victory at Supachalasai Stadium.

According to Thai News Agency, the Chai Nat Provincial Administrative Organization clinched a 2-1 victory over Monthong Wittaya, marking the first-ever 7-Color Student Football Championship. The triumph comes 32 years after the last legendary event at the iconic stadium, with both teams receiving prize money that surpassed one million baht.

Sakol Kliangprasert, the coach of the Monthong Wittaya team, expressed no disappointment over the loss, acknowledging the strength and perseverance of the Chai Nat team, which has been striving for success over the past three years. He mentioned that the field's unusual condition was a challenge and emphasized the importance of finishing the match despite the difficulties, noting the proximity of the cheering squad added pressure on the athletes to perform without retreating.

"Tae" Warakorn Changkhiandee, a key player for Monthong Wittaya, shared his aspiration to reach the finals again next year and secure the championship, while also acknowledging the challenges presented by the crowded stadium atmosphere.

The financial injection to the Monthong Wittaya School amounted to 1,645,000 baht, while the Chai Nat Provincial Administrative Organization Schools received 1,600,000 baht. Additionally, Ms. Kulpornphat Wongmajarapinya, CEO of Thai Smile Bus Co., Ltd. (TSB), announced the donation of a 7.96-meter electric bus valued at 4.2 million baht to Monthong Wittaya School. This donation aligns with TSB's commitment to supporting youth through clean-energy public transport, facilitating off-campus learning activities and student transportation.
