Chulaphan Promotes ‘Creating 9 Millionaires a Day’ Policy at Khlong Chan Flats

Bangkok: "Chulaphan" campaigned in the Khlong Chan flats to support "Pongsakorn" in Bangkok's District 14. He explained the new policy, "Creating 9 Millionaires a Day," stating it's not an aimless handout but rather a way to stimulate the economy, increase government tax revenue, and develop the country.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party and the party's prime ministerial candidate, along with his team, visited the Khlong Chan flats to speak with residents of the Khlong Chan Flats Federation, together with Mr. Pongsakorn Rattanareungwattana, candidate for Member of Parliament in Bangkok Constituency 14, number 2. They engaged with locals to listen to their problems and communicate the Pheu Thai Party's policies.

Mr. Chulaphan and his Pheu Thai Party team toured the market within the Khlong Chan apartment complex and were warmly welcomed. Merchants and residents of the Khlong Chan apartment community presented Mr. Chulaphan and Mr. Pongsakorn with flowers and garlands.

Following this, Mr. Chulaphan addressed the residents at the basketball court in Khlong Chan Flats, stating that the Pheu Thai Party aims to lead the formation of the government to deliver beneficial policies to the people.

He highlighted that the Pheu Thai Party has always focused on the needs of the people, particularly recognizing the hardships faced by Bangkok's residents. Consequently, they have designed policies to reduce public expenses, such as a 20-baht flat fare for the entire BTS Skytrain line and a 10-baht flat fare for feeder buses, to help reduce transportation costs.

Additionally, the "Housing for Thais" policy promises Thai people the right to own quality homes in prime locations with affordable monthly payments of only 4,000 baht. The party also introduced a debt relief policy aimed at easing citizens' financial burdens, allowing them to improve their financial situation and live more comfortably.

Mr. Chulaphan elaborated on the new policy of creating 9 millionaires every day, a concept successfully implemented in several countries. This initiative allows citizens to win a million baht by spending at stores that issue receipts, with five daily winners. The remaining four winners will come from groups such as senior citizens, farmers, taxpayers, and volunteer groups like community health and village defense volunteers.

He emphasized that this initiative is not about distributing money aimlessly but about encouraging public participation in the economic system, thereby bringing underground spending into the formal economy. This will enable the government to collect more taxes, which can then be used to design policies for further national development.

Residents of Khlong Chan flats engaged in discussions and shared their views on various issues, including drug trafficking suppression, scammer gangs, and details of the debt relief policy and the millionaire policy, in a friendly atmosphere.
