According to Thai News Agency, on January 7, 2026, Lieutenant General Veerayut Rakasilp visited the Tamaria-Sattasom area. He chose to stay overnight, living simply alongside the troops to gain a deeper understanding of the real situation and to provide encouragement to those stationed there.

The area holds personal significance for Lieutenant General Rakasilp, as he has previously served there. His visit was intended to closely monitor the situation, understand any natural changes in the terrain, and directly learn about the problems, needs, and shortages faced by the personnel.
