Dani Carvajal to Depart Real Madrid After Contract Expiry in 2026


Madrid: Real Madrid, a renowned Spanish football club, has officially announced that Dani Carvajal, the 34-year-old right-back, will leave the club at the end of the 2025/26 season. His contract expires on June 30, 2026.



According to Thai News Agency, Dani Carvajal joined Real Madrid’s academy in 2002 and spent 23 years with the club, divided into 10 years with the youth teams and 13 years with the first team. Throughout his career with Real Madrid, Carvajal has been pivotal in the club’s success, contributing to numerous major titles. His impressive list of accolades includes 4 La Liga titles, 2 Copa del Rey titles, 4 Spanish Super Cup titles, 6 UEFA Champions League titles, 5 UEFA Super Cup titles, and 5 FIFA Club World Cup titles.



The final match of the 2025/26 La Liga season is set to be held at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, where Real Madrid will host Athletic Bilbao. The club has planned a farewell ceremony for Dani Carvajal to honor and thank him for his long and dedicated service to the club.
