Deadline for Advance Voting Registration in Thailand Parliamentary Elections

Bangkok: The Election Commission of Thailand has issued a crucial reminder that January 5th marks the final day for citizens to register for advance voting in the upcoming parliamentary elections and referendums, especially for those intending to vote outside their registered district. This deadline is particularly significant for those unable to cast their vote on February 8th.

According to Thai News Agency, those eligible to vote in the elections and referendum, but unable to do so at their designated polling stations on February 8th, are urged to complete their advance registration by January 5th. This registration enables them to participate in the advance voting scheduled for February 1st, whether within their district, outside their district, or even outside the Kingdom of Thailand.

Interested voters can submit their applications through various channels, including district registrars, local registrars, ambassadors, or authorized representatives. Additionally, applications can be sent by mail or submitted online, specifically for those residing outside the Kingdom, with the service available 24 hours a day.
