This decision led to the cancellation of the Team Championships in Michigan and established the Indianapolis tournament as the definitive closing event for 2026. Although LIV CEO Scott O'Neill has confirmed that new investors have been secured, he remains confidential about the plans and structure for the next season.
DeChambeau, one of the initial big stars to join LIV four years ago, acknowledges that while the league is not without its flaws, it holds significant potential for future development.
