Surat thani: Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport visited the Phang Nga-Ban Ta Khun road project site to address issues arising from contractors abandoning the project. The project, which covers Highway No. 415, has been stalled, prompting urgent intervention by the Ministry of Transport.

According to Thai News Agency, Minister of Transport Pipat Ratchakitprakarn instructed Mr. Jirapong Theppitak, Deputy Permanent Secretary, to oversee the situation in Surat Thani Province. Accompanied by Mr. Pongsakorn Chullapothi, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Highways, the visit was aimed at assessing the project's status and addressing the challenges caused by the contractor's withdrawal.
