Election Commission Secretary Inspects Delivery of Election Ballots and Equipment to Nong Chok District Council

Bangkok: The Secretary-General of the Election Commission inspected the delivery of ballots and election equipment to the Nong Chok District Council, which will hold an election tomorrow (May 18).

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sawaeng Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission, visited the area to observe the delivery of ballot papers and election equipment for Bangkok Council members in Nong Chok District, Bangkok. The delivery of ballot papers and election equipment to the committees of 219 polling units is an important step in preparing for the election tomorrow (18 May). Once the MWA has received the ballot papers and election equipment, they will be kept in a safe place.

The Election Commission of Thailand invites eligible voters in Nong Chok District to exercise their right to vote for the Nong Chok District Council tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This election for the Nong Chok District Council comes after the Court of Appeals ruled on 25 March 2025 to hold a new election of members of the Nong Chok District Bangkok Council.
