Bangkok: The Election Commission Secretary-General visited the area to observe the by-election for Chiang Rai Constituency 7 and facilitated those eligible to vote. Mr. Saeng Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission, and his team traveled to Polling Station 12, located in the Ban Sop Kham School building in Wiang Subdistrict, Chiang Saen District, Chiang Rai Province, to inspect the readiness for the opening of the polling station for the vacant House of Representatives seat in Constituency 7. Mr. Charin Thongsuk, Governor of Chiang Rai Province, also attended as an observer at the polling station.
According to Thai News Agency, the Election Commission Secretary-General and his team then visited Chiang Saen and Mae Chan Districts to observe the election process and receive reports from polling station officials. They also inspected the readiness of polling stations and provided facilities for voters.

o the media about the overall election process at Polling Station 12, Chanchawa Subdistrict Municipality Office, Chanchawa Subdistrict, Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province. He stated that the overall election process was conducted with honesty, fairness, and compliance with the law.
Mr. Sa-nguan also invited eligible voters in District 7, which includes Mae Chan District (only the sub-districts of Chanchawa and Chanchawa Tai), Chiang Saen District, Doi Luang District, Chiang Khong District (only the sub-districts of Kheung, Sri Don Chai, Rim Khong, Wiang, Sathan, and Huai So), and Wiang Kaen District, to exercise their right to vote from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
