EXAT Celebrates Princess Sirindhorn’s Birthday with Support for Border Patrol Police School

Bangkok: The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) is organizing activities to commemorate Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's birthday in 2026. The initiative includes a significant contribution to the Border Patrol Police School in Nan Province, marking its 100th anniversary.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Kulkanya Thumsen, Deputy Governor (Legal Affairs), led the ceremony on May 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM, representing EXAT. The event was attended by EXAT executives, including Mr. Ratchanai Premprakin, Director of the Governor's Office; Mr. Sihabhumi Deevijarn, Director of the Corporate Communications Division; Ms. Rachadaporn Peerapojanart, Director of the Central and Meetings Division; and Mr. Kasinpoj Sathirawasit, Head of Corporate Communications Section 1.

They were greeted by local law enforcement leaders, Pol. Lt. Col. Songsak Chailap, Deputy Superintendent of Border Patrol Police Division 32 and Head of Border Patrol Police Unit 325, Pol. Lt. Col. Thamrong Jaiya, Commander of Border Patrol Police Company 322, and Police Sergeant Major Chakraphat Khamdee, Director of the Border Patrol Police School.

EXAT's funding of 500,000 baht will aid in the development of the school, with renovations planned for the canteen, mess hall, equipment storage room, and restrooms. Additionally, support included the provision of 50 scholarships and kitchen and sports equipment, valued at 70,000 baht. The school, located in Bo Kluea Nuea Subdistrict, Bo Kluea District, is celebrating its centennial milestone.
