Bangkok: June Nannirin's agency has released a letter of clarification after a fake page used their name and photos to deceive the public. CONVERSATIONTHAILAND, the agency representing actress June Nannirin Warokornwatcharakun, has issued a warning to fans to exercise caution when conducting financial transactions after discovering that unauthorized individuals were using June's name and photos to create fake Facebook accounts. These accounts were allegedly used to scam people into buying and selling cameras and tricking them into transferring money, causing damage to both individuals and the artist. The agency confirms that neither the agency nor its artist are involved and that they are currently gathering evidence and will pursue legal action, both civil and criminal, against the perpetrators.
According to Thai News Agency, the letter states: "Announcement Regarding the Unauthorized Use of Images of Actors and Artists under CONVERSATIONTHAILAND's Management on Social Media. CONVERSATIONTHAILAND has discovered a social media account impersonating 'Ms. Nannirin Warokornwatcharakun' (June), an actress under our management, and using her images without permission. A fake Facebook account was created to deceive people into buying and selling cameras and to trick others into transferring money, causing damage to individuals and the artist. Ms. Nannirin Warokornwatcharakun and CONVERSATIONTHAILAND clearly confirm that we have no involvement whatsoever with the fake account, the unauthorized use of her images, the impersonation, or any of the aforementioned purchases, sales, or financial transactions. These actions constitute impersonation, misuse of the image and reputation of our artist, fraud, and violation of privacy, which fall under several legal offenses. We request everyone to exercise caution when transferring money or conducting any transactions. If any damage occurs as a result of transferring money to the impersonating account or individual, the company reserves the right to not be liable for any damages incurred. CONVERSATIONTHAILAND is currently gathering evidence." And we will pursue legal action, both civil and criminal, to the fullest extent of the law, without compromise, in order to protect the rights, reputation, and safety of 'Ms. Nannirin Warokornwatcharakun' (June), our affiliated actress.
