Ayutthaya: A fire broke out at an electrical appliance and furniture store in Wang Noi Market, Mueang Mai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, damaging the entire building. It is believed that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit.
According to Thai News Agency, the fire erupted at the store located in Wang Noi Mueang Mai Market. The local Wang Noi Police Station coordinated with over 20 fire engines to manage the blaze as it raged fiercely, sending black smoke billowing into the sky. The store, situated next to a dormitory, necessitated swift action from officers who rushed to spray water in an effort to control the fire. It took approximately one hour to confine the fire to a limited area.
The incident left the shop completely damaged, with the roof of the steel frame collapsing. Two tenants from the adjacent apartment building suffered from smoke inhalation and were rescued before being taken to Rajathani Hospital. Fortunately, all employees managed to escape unharmed.
