Bangkok: Flooding in the South remains critical, with the Transport Company temporarily suspending six routes. The Transport Company of Thailand (BKS) has updated the flood situation in the South, saying it remains critical and reiterating the temporary suspension of bus services on six routes.
According to Thai News Agency, the Transport Company Limited (BKS) reported that flooding in southern Thailand, including Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and Satun provinces, remains severely flooded due to heavy rain. This has impacted bus operations in the southern region, with buses unable to transport passengers to their destinations on six routes.
The affected routes include Line 984 from Bangkok to Trang and Satun, Line 987 from Bangkok to Yala, Line 988 from Bangkok to Satun, Line 992 from Bangkok to Hat Yai, and Line 9917 operating from Bangkok to both Pattani and Su-ngai Kolok. BKS is required to temporarily suspend service on these routes effective today until the water level recedes. Affected passengers can request a ticket refund at any BKS ticket office nationwide.
