Helsinki: Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen is set to engage in discussions with high-profile ministers from Kenya, Benin, Costa Rica, and Thailand at the upcoming Kultaranta Talks scheduled for 16-17 June. This significant event will see Valtonen meeting with Prime Cabinet Secretary of Kenya Musalia Mudavadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Benin Olushegun Adjadi Bakari, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica Arnoldo André Tinoco, and Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand Russ Jalichandra.
According to African Press Organization, the panel discussion, titled “Accumulation of Shocks at the Global Level – What the West Should Understand,” will take place at the Kultaranta presidential summer residence on 16 June. The ministers will deliberate on regional and international developments that pose challenges to the rules-based international order.
Minister Valtonen expressed her anticipation for the discussions, highlighting the importance of diverse perspectives in addressing global
transformations. She noted that, despite geographical distances, there are numerous shared interests among the participating nations.
