Bangkok: GH Bank extends the time to help Thai people maintain their homes, opening registration for the ‘You Fight, We Help’ project until June 30, 2025.
According to Thai News Agency, the Government Housing Bank (GHB), a state financial institution under the Ministry of Finance, continues its mission to ‘make Thai people have homes’ by extending the participation period of the ‘You Fight, We Help’ project. This initiative aims to support individuals experiencing income issues in keeping their homes. The registration deadline has been extended from the original April 30, 2025, to June 30, 2025, for eligible customers.
The project targets customers with a credit line not exceeding 5 million baht, who signed contracts before January 1, 2024. It focuses on debtors who are not currently in arrears or are in arrears for no more than 30 days. However, these individuals must have a history of being in arrears for over 30 days before November 1, 2024, and have had their debt restructured since January 1, 2022, based on data as of October 31, 2024. Participants must also avoid incurring new debt within the first 12 months, except for emergencies like earthquake-related house repairs or necessary rehabilitation borrowing.
Interested customers can register through three channels: the Bank of Thailand website (www.bot.or.th/Khunsoo), the GHB ALL GEN application, and the GHB ALL BFRIEND application. The ‘You Fight, We Help’ project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Thailand, aiming to reduce the debt burden of individuals and businesses, helping them recover and regain financial stability in the long term.
