The government is inviting people to register for the "Air Conditioner Cleaning for the Nation" project from March 25 to May 23, 2026, to receive a 300 baht discount on air conditioner cleaning services. 30,000 registrations are available.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Airin Phanrit, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that, in light of the conflict in the Middle East, the government has been closely monitoring the situation and is moving forward with integrated cooperation to resolve the problems, especially energy-related issues, in order to alleviate the suffering of the people through various assistance measures.
Ms. Airin stated that the government, through the Ministry of Energy and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), is collaborating with private sector partners to implement energy saving measures through the "Air Conditioner Cleaning for the Nation" project. This project, in partnership with department stores and online service providers, offers a 300 baht discount on air conditioner cleaning services for 30,000 customers. Another project offers discounts on the purchase of energy-efficient (Energy Label No. 5) products for 15,000 customers. These initiatives are expected to reduce electricity consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
Interested citizens can register for the program between March 25th and May 23rd, 2026. Registration will be available at shopping malls and online services. Citizens must prepare the following information and documents: 1. National ID card 2. One month's electricity bill for 2026 (including the electricity account number).
