Government Lottery Office Prepares for 182,000 Baht Jackpot Draw.

Bangkok: The Government Lottery Office is gearing up for the highly anticipated jackpot draw, with a prize of 182,000 baht. The initiative aims to address the issue of overpriced lottery tickets and is distinct from the underground lottery market.

According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Col. Noon Sansanakom, Director of the Government Lottery Office, reported that the sale of the N3 last digit prize has garnered significant interest among gamblers. Thus far, approximately 1.5 million tickets have been sold, with a target of 5 million tickets per draw.

The Government Lottery Office has clarified that the N3 last digit prize is intended to tackle the problem of lottery tickets being sold above their designated price. It is emphasized that this initiative does not pose competition to the underground lottery due to differences in sales formats and prize structures.

The availability of 80 baht points of sale has been a challenge, prompting recommendations for individuals to locate these points via the Pao Tang appli
cation. Once located, customers can select their desired number and make payments through the application.

The number 394 is currently the most sought after, offering a return of 211 baht per ticket if it wins, while the jackpot remains at 182,000 baht. Conversely, number 800 has fewer buyers but offers a potential payout of 9,178 baht per ticket if victorious, with a jackpot of 182,964 baht. The prize amounts for the last three digits fluctuate based on the number of buyers, without a cap like the underground lottery, resulting in varied prize amounts.
