Bangkok: The government organized a club event to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of Coronation Day, May 4, 2025. Today at 7:00 p.m. at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, presided over the Sannibat Club event honoring His Majesty the King on this significant occasion.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister and her spouse, upon arrival at the Santi Maitri Building, bowed to the portrait of His Majesty the King, offered incense and candles, and then the Prime Minister delivered a speech offering auspicious blessings. The speech expressed profound gratitude for His Majesty's diligent and persistent royal duties, which have benefitted and brought happiness to the people throughout the country. The Prime Minister highlighted the King's compassion and the resulting sustainable development and peace for all Thai people.
During the event, the Prime Minister led the assembled guests in offering best wishes to His Majesty, invoking blessings from the Triple Gem and sacred powers for the King's prosperity, happiness, and fulfillment of wishes. The event included a toast to the King's continued prosperity, followed by the playing of the Royal Anthem by the Fine Arts Department band. The guests joined in saying 'Long Live the King' three times and concluded the ceremony with the Song of Praise to the King.
For the Royal Jubilee Club organized in honor of the King, the government invited distinguished personalities and their spouses, including representatives from public and private sectors, the diplomatic corps, and international organizations. Notable attendees included the President of the National Assembly, the President of the Senate, the President of the Supreme Court, and several other high-ranking officials. The event underscored the unity and loyalty of the Thai people towards His Majesty the King.
