Bangkok: The Government Savings Bank has extended significant financial support to five sports associations in Thailand to enhance the potential of athletes and the sports industry within the country. Mr. Songpol Cheevapanyaroj, Director of the Government Savings Bank, alongside Ms. Wachira Karsut, Deputy Director of Sustainable Marketing Group, spearheaded the initiative to bolster the development of quality athletes and improve international competitiveness in line with the bank's philosophy of fostering opportunities and improving the quality of life for Thai citizens.
According to Thai News Agency, the financial assistance was officially presented at a special event where Vice Admiral Sarayut Dangthes, Vice President of the Windsurfing Association of Thailand, accepted the donation on behalf of his association. The other four associations, namely Archery, Netball, Jujitsu, and Gymnastics, received their contributions at the Government Savings Bank headquarters. This strategic support underscores the bank's commitment to advancing Thai sports and driving national development by nurturing local talent and elevating their performance on an international stage.
