Mr. Mai, Mr. Meechai's friend, pulled out a gun and shot the undercover agent and officers to clear their escape route, causing the police officer to be shot in the shoulder and the undercover agent to be shot in the stomach, seriously injuring him. Mr. Mai then got into his car and drove away, leaving his girlfriend to run away in another direction. Only Mr. Meechai was unable to escape in time and was arrested.
