Bangkok:HAPPY26 opened trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand's Live Exchange (LiVEx) at 3.60 baht, marking a 28.57% increase from its initial public offering (IPO) price of 2.80 baht. The stock's rise reflects an increase of 0.80 baht on its first day of trading.
According to Thai News Agency, the proceeds from HAPPY26's IPO will be allocated with 50% directed towards expanding investment in developing ready-built warehouses and factories for rent. The remaining funds will be used to purchase machinery, repay loans, improve liquidity, and serve as working capital.
During the opening ceremony, Ms. Rungtip Charoenvisutthiwong, Assistant Manager of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and Mr. Chalerm Thongsuk, CEO of Meesuk Solutions Public Company Limited, participated in welcoming the company's debut on LiVEx.
HAPPY26 specializes in the development and management of warehouse and factory properties in Bangkok, its surrounding areas, and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). Their business operations are divided into installation services using prefabricated components, real estate investment and development, and the distribution of construction materials. The company's primary clients include SMEs, construction contractors, project developers, and landowners.
The listing of HAPPY26 represents the third company to be listed on the LiVE Platform this year, which is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups. LiVEx, in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission, aims to facilitate broader fundraising and listing opportunities, providing entrepreneurs with growth funding and fostering their development through the knowledge-based LiVE Platform.
