House Secretary-General Proposes Censure Motion Inclusion to Wan Nor

Bangkok: The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives has proposed to Wan Muhammad Noor Matha, the Speaker of the House, to include a censure motion in the upcoming agenda, ensuring that no text in the motion will be omitted. The responsibility of addressing concerns regarding the participation of outsiders in the debate rests with the House Speaker.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Col. Aphat Sukhanan, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, discussed the verification process of the motion's accuracy, which aims for a general debate to vote no confidence in Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra. The verification of signatures and content has been finalized, and the document has been submitted for the Speaker's consideration for inclusion in the agenda.

When inquired about the inclusion of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's name in the motion, Pol. Lt. Col. Aphat stated that the decision lies with the House Speaker and Deputy Speakers, especially if there are concerns about the debate involving outsiders.

'The review did not propose to cut any text in the motion. Therefore, it is a proposal for the House Speaker to include the motion in the agenda according to normal procedures. Whether to consider the appropriateness or not is at the discretion of the Speaker, as it is a fact related to the discussion of individuals,' emphasized the House Secretary-General.
