Kantharalak: The Kantharalak Provincial Court has announced the postponement of all cases scheduled for December 8 and 9, 2025, due to ongoing clashes at the Thai-Cambodian border. The court advises utilizing electronic systems for communication with government officials to avoid physical travel to the court premises.
According to Thai News Agency, the decision was made following violence stemming from exchanges of gunfire between soldiers from Thailand and Cambodia. All cases initially set for December 8 and 9 will be rescheduled to a later date, with the possibility of conducting hearings electronically for judgments by the Court of First Instance or the High Court. Civil and consumer cases can be filed using the Cios and e-filing systems, with electronic submissions permissible via email to the Kantharalak Provincial Court at [email protected].
For criminal cases where the accused has been granted temporary release, the court may arrange for the accused to report via telephone or electronic means. Individuals with inquiries are encouraged to contact the court through its telephone line at 045-810725 or via email, and to stay updated through the court's official website.
