Khon Performance by Support Foundation Showcases Satya Pali to Enthralled Audience

Bangkok: The curtain has been raised on the Khon performance by the Support Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques, featuring the Satya Pali performance, which has impressed the audience. According to Thai News Agency, the premiere of the Khon performance by the Support Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, year 2025, titled Ramakien, Satya Pali, took place at the Main Auditorium, Thailand Cultural Center. The event was directed by Dr. Supachai Chansuwan, a National Artist.

Last night's premiere marked the curtain-raiser for the show, with national artists, government officials, khon performers, and members of the media attending the annual Khon performance by the Support Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques (SUPPORT Foundation) for 2015. All attendees wore traditional Thai silk and black clothing to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, the "Mother of the Land." She ignited the revival of Thai khon, uttering the words, "If no one is watching, I'll watch."
