Nakhon pathom: Lawyer Aun, also known as Mr. Patarapong Supakorn, has taken decisive legal steps alongside Saichai Wongwiroj, a renowned actor, in filing a police report against an individual accused of assault. This incident is part of an ongoing land dispute at the Nakhon Pathom Land Office in Nakhon Chai Si.
According to Thai News Agency, Lawyer Aun emphasized the gravity of the situation by filing a criminal complaint under Section 391 of the Criminal Code. Despite some civil matters having been resolved, Lawyer Aun remains steadfast in pursuing criminal charges. Previously, a settlement involving Saichai's girlfriend addressed property damage, specifically concerning a mobile phone. However, Lawyer Aun insists that the assault against Saichai, which involved being chased and nearly attacked, constitutes a criminal offense that cannot be settled privately.
In line with the investigation, Saichai has undergone a medical examination at Nakhon Chai Si Hospital to gather forensic evidence, despite the absence of serious injuries. Additionally, the police are set to request CCTV footage from the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Land Office to substantiate the allegations, which include verbal abuse, defamation, and document destruction.
Lawyer Aun has also indicated the possibility of pursuing further charges, such as defamation and destruction of official documents, which carry significant legal consequences. He stressed the importance of adhering to the law within government premises and reiterated that while personal settlements may be reached, criminal offenses must be addressed through legal channels.
The Nakhon Chai Si Police Station investigators have already initiated evidence collection at the scene to advance the legal proceedings.
