Lawyer Saiyud Discusses Way and Nana’s Meeting with Officials Amid Debt Settlement Process

Bangkok: Way Thaitanium and Nana Raibina, the well-known married duo, made an appearance at the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECSD) at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) this morning. They attended following a summons, accompanied by their lawyer, Saiyud Pengbunchu.

According to Thai News Agency, Saiyud Pengbunchu recently informed the media that prior to meeting with officials, he inquired if his clients were open to giving an interview. Nana and Way declined, citing concerns that publicity could harm their sales and attract criticism. Saiyud mentioned that if the couple decides to participate in an interview, he would facilitate it. He emphasized that discussing Nana is a matter of timing, and if they permit him, he will speak.

Saiyud clarified today's proceedings, stating that Way's appearance was part of a legal requirement, and she was present solely to support him legally. Way has no additional scheduled appearances, with her future involvement limited to document submission. Nana's case is concluded, and her presence today was solely to accompany Way. The lawyer further disclosed that the debt restructuring process is ongoing, with the exact debt amount yet to be determined. They have obtained a partial estimate and are reviewing Way's assets.
