Nakhon ratchasima: A critically ill patient weighing 260 kilograms was successfully transported to Maharaj Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital with the help of more than 20 rescue workers after suffering from acute heart failure. The patient is reported to be safe following the rescue operation.
According to Thai News Agency, the patient was carefully moved by emergency room staff from Maharaj Nakorn Ratchasima Hospital, along with personnel from Pak Chong Nana Hospital and volunteers from the Sawang Wichcha Thammasathan Pak Chong and Sawang Metta Tham Nakhon Ratchasima rescue teams. The male patient, whose condition was unstable, required intubation during the transfer. The entire mission was meticulously planned, from positioning the patient and controlling the ventilator to monitoring vital signs, ensuring a smooth and efficient transfer over a nearly 100-kilometer journey from Pak Chong Nana Hospital in Pak Chong District to the hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima City.
The challenging transfer process, especially when maneuvering the stretcher on and off the slide, was expertly managed through the cooperation of everyone involved. This seamless teamwork ensured the patient's safe delivery to the medical team waiting for him, emphasizing the importance of coordinated emergency responses in critical situations.
