Lopburi: Wearing traditional Thai clothing, four MCOT presenters and program hosts brought the essence of Thai culture to the 38th King Narai the Great Festival in 2026. The attire, known as "jongkraben" and "sabai," highlighted the beauty of Thai fabrics and customs.
According to Thai News Agency, Kiatiya Thamaviphatch and Kamolnet Nuanchan, along with Vanessa Samakshrut and Pojjanart Thanathanakul from the Thai News Agency, attended the festival to capture its vibrant atmosphere. The presenters, dressed in traditional attire, aimed to showcase the engaging tourism activities through live broadcasts and social media content.
This year's festival theme, "Wearing traditional Thai attire," aimed to reflect the identity and historical ambiance of Lopburi's ancient city. The outfits were designed with simplicity and elegance, adhering to historical and ceremonial standards. The color palette consisted of 25 shades of mourning, creating a harmonious and dignified appearance. The attire, including mourning pins, was meticulously designed by Siriweddingstudio in Lopburi to ensure adherence to Thai dress traditions and the festival's context. The collective effort sought to leave a lasting impression, contributing to the festival's success as an important annual event in Lopburi.
