Today’s event saw over 300 participants, demonstrating a significant interest in Muay Thai in Malaga, as well as in Madrid and Barcelona. This is also a growing trend, particularly in those who watch Saenchai and other famous boxers online.

“The embassy has consistently supported Muay Thai activities. This year, we held the Thai Festival in Madrid for the first time. We received support for Muay Thai activities, which has shown us a growing interest in Muay Thai among Spanish and other expatriates living in Spain. We will continue to promote this. We also need to understand that Muay Thai is not just a martial art, but also a form of exercise and discipline. This will instill determination and strengthen the body, not just for physical abuse, but for self-defense.”

Ambassador
Vosit added that the Muay Thai Master Class is an activity intended to teach foreigners that Muay Thai isn’t about gaining an advantage over others. Rather, it strengthens minds and equips individuals with self-defense skills. Therefore, this activity deserves continued promotion, as Muay Thai is currently very popular around the world. If possible, further promotion and development are encouraged, with this activity held annually to further increase interest in Muay Thai.

The Muay Thai Master Class 2025 project will travel to 10 countries to promote the art of Muay Thai.
