NBTC Provides Free Internet and Calls to Flood Victims

Bangkok: The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has announced relief measures for those affected by the flooding in the South, offering 10GB of free internet and 100 minutes of free calls across all networks.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Trirat Wiriyasirikul, Deputy Secretary-General and Acting Secretary-General of the NBTC, stated that these measures have been put in place to aid the large number of people impacted by the floods. From November 28, 2025, individuals in the flood-affected areas will receive an SMS confirming their entitlement to these services, which they can start using immediately without any additional steps.

Additionally, the NBTC has extended the service period for prepaid customers by 30 days and the payment period for postpaid customers by 30 days, ensuring that services remain uninterrupted during this difficult time.
