No Decision Yet on ‘Thai Helps Thai, Blue Flag’ Program

Baku:The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, has confirmed that no decision has been made regarding the 'Thai Helps Thai, Blue Flag' program. He stated that legal aspects must be considered, particularly after 80-90% of votes disagreed with controlling the budget of Thai PBS. The "Blue Flag" program, aimed at reducing the cost of living, will not be discussed at the Cabinet meeting.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin clarified after the Cabinet meeting that the session followed a regular agenda and did not address the "Thai Helps Thai" or "Blue Flag" cost-of-living reduction projects. When questioned about specific instructions from the Cabinet meeting, he mentioned that several issues were discussed.

Regarding whether Thai PBS would continue, given the high disapproval rates of the proposed legal amendments, Anutin emphasized that legal aspects still need to be examined. When asked if the matter needed the Prime Minister's approval due to its financial implications, he advised to "submit the matter first."
