Officials Attend Funeral Services to Support Families of Train Incident Victims

Bangkok: The Ministry of Transport and the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) jointly expressed their condolences to the victims at the funeral service. Executives from both organizations attended the ceremonies to pay their respects to the deceased.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchaneeporn Thitithap, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, and Mr. Puriphat Teerakulphisut, Inspector General of the Ministry of Transport, were present at the funeral rites held at Wat Nam Daeng in Samut Prakan Province. Their attendance aimed to express condolences and support to the bereaved families affected by the incident.

Furthermore, Mr. Anan Pothinimdaeng, Deputy Governor and Acting Governor of the SRT, along with SRT executives and staff, attended the funeral rites at Wat Phromwongsaram in Din Daeng District, Bangkok. Their presence was to offer condolences and support to the grieving family.

In addition, the SRT has been actively participating in funeral rites at multiple locations, including Wat Tritotsathep in Bangkok, Wat Khlong Nueng (Kaew Nimit) in Pathum Thani Province, and Ban Don Kratai in Si Sa Ket Province. The SRT's efforts are focused on expressing condolences and providing ongoing support to the families impacted by the incident.

The State Railway of Thailand has committed to closely monitoring and assisting those affected and their families. The SRT is coordinating with relevant agencies to ensure appropriate and continuous relief and assistance is provided.
