Palang Pracharath Party Unveils “Pracharat Extra Card” Policy to Boost Grassroots Economy

Bangkok: The Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) has announced its new initiative, the "Pracharat Extra Card" policy, aimed at increasing the monthly allowance for low-income earners to 700 baht. This initiative seeks to alleviate poverty and invigorate the grassroots economy.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Treenuch Thianthong, the sole female prime ministerial candidate from the PPRP in this election, has declared her commitment to advancing the Pracharath Card project, a cornerstone policy of the party. She aims to upgrade it to the "Pracharath Card Extra: Double the Value," enhancing the financial support for low-income individuals from the existing 300 baht to 700 baht monthly.

Ms. Treenuch emphasized that the policy is a concrete and verified achievement, rather than a mere promise, with the potential to significantly reduce economic hardship for the populace. Increasing the financial aid is intended to fortify vulnerable groups and low-income earners, assisting them in better managing the current economic climate.

Additionally, the Palang Pracharath Party is focusing on bolstering the grassroots economy to ensure communities and localities can achieve long-term self-reliance. This policy is seen as a crucial tool for reducing inequality, distributing income, and sustainably enhancing the quality of life for citizens. Ms. Treenuch concluded by reaffirming the party's readiness to implement practical policies that produce tangible outcomes, aiming to support all citizens effectively.
