Bangkok: Parliament is making arrangements to accommodate new Members of Parliament (MPs) as they report for duty following the certification of election results by the Election Commission. The venue and parking facilities are being prepared to facilitate the registration process for the newly elected MPs.
According to Thai News Agency, the preparations involve setting up the registration area and parking spaces, specifically on level B1 of the Parliament building. This is in anticipation of the Election Commission's meeting to certify the election results, with the registration of MPs scheduled to commence the following day. A notice has been issued to staff and those who normally park on level B1, requesting them to relocate their vehicles by February 25, 2026. This is to ensure the area is available for MP registration from February 26 to March 6, 2026.
The Parliament has designated the meeting room on floor B1 as the registration location for both constituency and party-list MPs, continuing the practice from the previous election.
