According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labor, gave an interview addressing the situation involving Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, MP for Bangkok, and Mr. Sahasawat Kumkhong, MP for Chonburi, Prachachon Party, who are preparing to file a complaint with the NACC concerning the conclusion of the investigation into the Sky Nine building purchase case. Pipat mentioned that he had forwarded the issue to Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, who oversees the Ministry of Labor, and had initiated a committee to uncover the facts. He noted that the committee's investigation was nearing a conclusion, pending confirmation from Mr. Anutin in a formal letter to the Ministry of Labor.
Mr. Pipat further explained that while he had seen reports on several media outlets about leaked information, he had not yet received such details personally and thus could not verify their authenticity. He stated that should Mr. Anutin forward any findings, appropriate actions would be taken, potentially including establishing another committee to further investigate, depending on the final results of the current inquiry.
Regarding Ms. Rakchanok's claims that the building was overpriced, Mr. Pipat remarked that determining the validity of these claims would require revisiting the appraisals conducted at that time. Since the events occurred before his tenure as Minister of Labor, it would be essential to review which appraiser was used and whether multiple companies were involved in the evaluation process.
