Khon Kaen: "Pita" visited Khon Kaen, expressing his intention to travel and seek knowledge for the next nine years before returning to aim for the Prime Minister position. He emphasized that without his leadership, the economy might face challenges, and he provided four compelling reasons for supporting the local female engineer candidate from the Prachachon Party.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, former leader of the Move Forward Party, visited Khon Kaen to support Ms. Benjamaporn Srilabut, a candidate for mayor representing the Prachachon Party. Speaking at the old Khon Kaen Provincial Transport Station, he outlined four reasons for the people of Khon Kaen to support the candidate. The first reason he cited was her engineering background, which he believes is pivotal for leadership roles.
Mr. Pita elaborated that the candidate's experience in engineering will prevent civil servants from misleading her, as she can thoroughly understand and evaluate blueprints. This expertise, he argued, is essential for managing the substantial municipal budget, ensuring transparency and efficiency in governance.
The second reason Mr. Pita mentioned was the candidate's clear and actionable policies, which he believes can effectively address local issues such as road repair, waste management, and water treatment. He stressed that these solutions could be implemented by local people for the benefit of the community.
Mr. Pita's third reason highlighted the advantage of electing a candidate from the People's Party, promising seamless collaboration between the mayor and additional Members of Parliament (MPs). He noted that this synergy would enhance the efficacy of addressing both overt and covert national issues, including economic growth and corruption.
Lastly, Mr. Pita asserted that electing the People's Party would establish it as the leading party in Thailand, even in the face of potential disqualification challenges. He expressed confidence in the party's ability to attract talent from across the nation and emphasized the integrity and resilience of the people of Khon Kaen.
He concluded by reiterating his commitment to personal growth and leadership, stating that his journey to gain knowledge across the country will prepare him to return as an exemplary Prime Minister in nine years.
