Police Seize Large Cache of Drugs and Firearms in Sa Kaeo Province Raid

Bangkok: Police raided the home of "Noi Suea Hok" and found crystal meth, methamphetamine pills, and illegal firearms. Police from Wang Nam Yen Police Station, in a joint operation with several agencies, raided a drug hideout, arresting "Noi Suea Hok" and seizing nearly 20,000 methamphetamine pills, 2 kilograms of crystal meth, and an illegal firearm.

According to Thai News Agency, police from Wang Nam Yen Police Station, in collaboration with several agencies, launched an operation to suppress drug trafficking after receiving information about the clandestine concealment of narcotics in Wang Nam Yen District, Sa Kaeo Province. Further investigation revealed that Mr. Boontham, or "Noi Suea Hok," 44, was involved in drug trafficking and was using his residence as a hiding place for drugs awaiting distribution to customers in the area. After gathering evidence, officers raided his home in Khlong Hin Pun Subdistrict, Wang Nam Yen District, Sa Kaeo Province. The search yielded a large quantity of narcotics and a homemade firearm. Officers then immediately arrested Mr. Boontham.

During the search, the following items were seized: 16,000 methamphetamine pills, 2 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, one homemade rifle, one mobile phone, and one motorcycle, with an estimated value of approximately 40,000 baht.

Furthermore, narcotics were found in Mr. Boontham's urine, leading to charges of "possession of a Category 1 narcotic with intent to sell, consumption of a Category 1 narcotic, and possession of a firearm without a permit."

Initially, officers took Mr. Boontham, along with all the seized items, to the investigating officers at Wang Nam Yen Police Station to proceed with legal action. They are also accelerating the investigation to track down other members of the criminal network and trace the drug trafficking routes for further prosecution.
