Bangkok: "Preedee" has firmly denied rumors suggesting his appointment as Minister of Energy, stating that these claims are unfounded and that no offers have been extended to him for any political position.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Predee Daochai, who previously served as Minister of Finance, addressed recent media reports suggesting that he might be considered for the role of Minister of Energy. He clarified that these reports are baseless and confirmed that no individual or political entity has approached him with such an offer.
Mr. Daochai emphasized that despite his past ministerial experience, he has no plans to re-enter the political arena or affiliate with any political party. He explained that after assessing his professional aspirations, he believes his skills and knowledge are more beneficial in the private sector. He currently focuses on serving as a director and advisor to various companies, where he contributes to organizational growth, personnel development, and management enhancement.
Expressing gratitude for the confidence shown in him, Mr. Daochai reiterated, "I thank you for your trust in me, but I reiterate that the rumors about me taking any political position are untrue."
