Bangkok: The Prime Minister has engaged in discussions with Minister Suriya to address the fertilizer issue in preparation for the planting season.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister disclosed his talks with Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Suriya Jungrungreangkit, focusing on strategies to resolve the fertilizer problem. The discussions highlighted Minister Suriya's concerns about farmers and the necessity to mitigate the burden of fertilizer costs. The talks concentrated on two main issues: ensuring an adequate price and quantity of fertilizer. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of securing sufficient supply to guarantee timely distribution to farmers. If necessary, the production capacity of fertilizer would need to be increased.
The Prime Minister reassured that the government is committed to resolving all issues impacting the people, emphasizing the responsibility to ensure that farmers receive fertilizer in time for their planting needs.
