Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul Showcases Fitness in Aerobics Session to Mark Success of National Exercise Project

Bangkok: Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul demonstrated his commitment to fitness by participating in an aerobics session lasting over 20 minutes during a ceremony celebrating the achievements of the "74 Days, 74 Million Calories" exercise initiative. According to Thai News Agency, the event took place at Supachalasai Stadium in Pathumwan, Bangkok, where Anutin Charnvirakul, who also serves as Minister of Interior, presided over the ceremony. He was accompanied by Minister of Public Health Pattana Promphat and representatives from related agencies. Upon their arrival, the Prime Minister engaged with the attendees, offering friendly greetings and posing for photographs. During the ceremony, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the project's success, which is held under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King to commemorate the King's 74th birthday on July 28, 2026. The initiative aligns with the royal aspirations of promoting health, sports, and exercise, aiming to foster a healthy, disci plined, and united society, crucial for the nation's stable and sustainable development. The government emphasizes proactive health promotion, recognizing that good health underpins national stability and development. By encouraging exercise, the government not only addresses health policies but also nurtures national development, impacting the economy and long-term security. National campaigns and sporting events have successfully integrated exercise into daily life, prompting plans to expand such activities across all provinces, districts, and communities through public and private sector cooperation to cultivate an active Thai society. The Prime Minister commended the Department of Health, the Ministry of Public Health, and partner networks for their collaboration in ensuring the project's success, congratulating the award and certificate recipients for their contributions. Anutin Charnvirakul, joined by his wife and Minister of Public Health Pattana Promphat, participated in the aerobics session led by Hay Apaporn Nakhon Sawan, showcasing his fitness and dedication to the health initiative.
