Prime Minister Orders Establishment of One-Stop Solar Information Service

Bangkok: The Prime Minister has mandated the creation of a One-Stop Service for solar cells to enhance public access to information, cost-effectiveness, and funding opportunities from state banks. He also assured that the current Cabinet will actively engage with urgent parliamentary inquiries, appointing Minister Paradorn to liaise with the opposition to facilitate timely responses for public benefit.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, disclosed the outcomes of the recent Cabinet meeting. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has directed the Ministry of Energy and associated agencies to swiftly establish a one-stop service center. This center aims to provide citizens with comprehensive and precise information, empowering them to make informed decisions about the feasibility, cost-effectiveness, procedures, and government support measures related to solar energy. State-owned banks like the Government Housing Bank and the Government Savings Bank are currently offering incentives to encourage solar rooftop installations.

The Prime Minister also underscored the necessity of addressing urgent parliamentary questions, which the government considers a priority. He acknowledged the obligations of ministers and thus tasked Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, with coordinating with the opposition on managing and scheduling these urgent questions. In cases of schedule conflicts, he requested that the opposition be notified, ensuring them that the cabinet will not shy away from urgent inquiries. He emphasized the importance of effective political coordination between the government and the opposition to ensure that addressing urgent questions genuinely serves the public interest.
