The Prime Minister inspected the readiness of the venue for the Royal Club event, ordering improvements to the roof of the walkway leading to the Santi Building to ensure it is proper and befitting of His Majesty's honor. According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at Government House this morning, walking from Khu Fah Building to Santi Maitri Building to inspect the preparations for the Royal Celebration Reception on Coronation Day, Monday, May 4th. The Prime Minister has instructed officials to replace the plastic roof covering the walkway between the buildings and the ropes securing it, for aesthetic reasons and to show due respect. He directed those responsible to assess the appropriate and aesthetically pleasing way to make the change. The Prime Minister also stated that it looked unsightly an d was completely useless, giving the example that it wouldn't be able to protect against rain because there were gaps without a roof in the walkway; if it rained, people would still get wet.
